DATA BASE

Purposes:

    Database support is designed for medical purposes with advanced image support to creation an management of local and public access databases for different kinds of patient examinations.
    Database is formed on the base of reference architecture. Only investigation fields which are necessary for the search and information sorting are stored in the database. The rest of whole information is stored as a file of arbitrary size. Such a kind of reference is transparent for the user which can see the whole data. It allows one to store the data of any kind examination and it is convenient for medical institutions to form the electronic medical case history. It is possible to represent the information formed by the program in another format need by other programs ( for instance as the set of images ).
    DB support is based on ODBC technology and designed with the help of MFC library which allows to integrate the program with other programs of different purposes. It is possible to use this program as independent application for filling the forms by hand.
    DB support involves two importable dialogs - the filter and the DB examination. The dialogs have sufficiently developed and clear user interface. It should be noted that addition of new type of examination support into the database may be performed without recompiling the software and without table reconfiguring but only with the help of standard text editor.
    The program is ported to use under Windows-95/Windows-98/NT.
