The recent Internet development in the world and in the Ukraine favors the use of the Internet technology for the needs of health care. Introduced here is the experimental server for the off-line telemedical consultations on the base of the WWW-technology which allows to develop the systems of the off-line consultations in the very different medical fields. The system of telemedical consultations in the field of neuroroengenology is currently under the inculcation at the Neuroradiology department of Institute of Neurosurgery of Medical Sciences Academy of Ukraine, and Diagnostic Department of Magnetic Resonance Tomography at SII Intermag. This system allows the doctors having the direct connection to Internet to get an additional consultation.

   The request of the consultation can be performed by filling the remote consultation form, which can be accompanied by the diagnostic images of the patient in various formates (gif, pcx, jpg, bmp, as well as the format img of the MR tomograph "Obraz" series). After the sending of the filled form the information is entered into the database of the telemedical consultations, and the expert is notified. By receiving the notice the expert enters the telemedical consultation database and studies the information about the patient. After that he enters his conclusions into the database which is sent automatically to the e-mail address indicated in the request form.

   The interested experts need to register and obtain their user name and the passwords in order to work with the system of remote telemedical consultation. To do this one should send an e-mail to address official@intermag.kiev.ua containing personal and contact information (including e-mail address, tel, fax) as well as the information about the medical institution he (she) represents.

   All interested doctors, who wish to appear as the consultants are welcomed for the collaboration.
